CLBC Services for Adults Over 19 years old

What we do:

Nechako Valley Community Services Society Supports adults who are funded through CLBC to achieve their goals. We are here to help you do what you want to do, whether it is to help with house tasks, job seeking or helping you budget your money.

What is CLBC?

Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) funds supports and services to help adults with developmental disabilities and their families achieve their goals and live the life they want. CLBC funded supports are delivered through service agencies and help eligible adults meet their disability related needs and participate in meaningful ways in the community.

CLBC funded supports can include:
¨ Helping to find housing options that encourage independence while meeting an individuals’ unique needs
¨ Family support
¨ Connections with community services to support individuals, families or caregivers

CLBC Programs:
¨ Supported Employment
¨ Residential supported living
¨ Outreach
¨ Semi Independent Living Skills
¨ PSI (Personalized Supports Initiative).

NVCSS promotes growth, skill building and community inclusion. We work with you to identify goals.

All referrals for services at NVCSS  come through
Community Living British Columbia (CLBC).
